So, first things first: I joined a writing comm! It's called Writerverse http://writerverse.livejournal.com

Technical aside: Is there a way to imbed a link in a Dreamwidth post that can also function as an LJ cut tag? Probably not.

My idea is that I'll be writing more regularly as I participate. You know what they say -- the only way to be a writer is to write. Or something like that. The requirement is to write a little bit, once every two weeks. I just might write more than that. I just might. There is one challenge called the "Table of Doom" that intrigues me. You have a list of prompts you have to incorporate into a work of 20,000 words or more, due by the end of August. Piece of cake!

I have been sorted to Team Prose! We earn points as teams for our various writing endeavours, and also for offering critical commentary.

I have a banner to match the icon above but I'm still working on how to present it on Dreamwidth. I found a place to upload icons but there doesn't seem to be an option for uploading images. I could put it on photobucket I suppose. I'll have to think about how I want to do this. I'm trying to get my both real life and online life streamlined right now.

Anyway, here is a link to my Hannibal fic, at AO3:

The lj-cut tag works on Dreamdwidth the same way as it does on LJ. There's also a simplified version of [cut] or [cut text="whatever you want"][/cut] (with the proper brackets for html obv) that I never embraced because pffft the lj-cut tag still works.

Or did you mean like (outside link) in the fake cut fashion?
